 Compensation

RMD Communications works for clients under one of the following three compensation arrangements:

   Fixed monthly professional services fee     

   Per-hour consulting fee                         

   One-time projects

FIXED MONTHLY PROFESSIONAL SERVICES:

Compensation for planning and implementing communications programs on an ongoing monthly basis is at $150.00 per hour. A 10-hour per-month minimum applies to this hourly rate.

PER-HOUR CONSULTING: 

Compensation for consulting services not on an ongoing monthly basis is at $175.00 per hour or $125.00 per hour for public sector clients.  There is a four-hour minimum for hourly consulting assignments.

ONE-TIME PROJECTS:

One-time projects, other than media training workshops and communications seminars, are handled under a time-plus-expenses arrangement, based on $175.00 per hour for professional time.

           Half-day media training workshop

• $1,800.00 (a maximum of five trainees) Includes all time to prepare for and conduct the workshop.  

• In addition, there is a $15 per-participant charge for workshop materials which include prepared workshop notes in a three-ring personalized binder and the VHS cassette used to record the training interviews.

• There is a discounted fee of $1,500.00 per   workshop when two or more workshops are scheduled for one organization in close time and geographic proximity.

   “Communications That  Work” seminar

• $750.00 (no limit on number of  attendees) Includes all time preparing for and conducting three-hour seminar. 

• Cost to prepare notes for attendees is limited to $50.00 per seminar

Reimbursable Expenses:

The hourly fees under all the above arrangements cover professional time only.  Reimbursable expenses such as travel and lodging, long-distance telephone/fax or modem time, postage, copies, broadcast or print media monitoring, translation, photography or printing services are in addition to the fee and are billed at net cost.
